complete overview of the production of tapestries created by the famous weaver and artist.

Villa Torlonia - after important restoration and arrangement works -
the air raid shelter reopens to the public with a new multimedia display
and Mussolini's Bunker at Villa Torlonia: two structures built in the early years
of the Second World War below the Casino Nobile.

Villa Torlonia presents an exhibition on Virgilio Retrosi
(Rome 1892-1975), artist present in the collections of the Museum of Rome with the 14 plates
parade dedicated to the historic districts of Rome. The event intends to present the figure of to the general public
an artist who dedicated his life to the applied arts.

 Ferrari Sheppard. Crucible - Casino dei Principi, Villa Torlonia, Via Nomentana, 70 - Roma
Exhibition running from 27 October 2023 to 7 January 2024
Villa Torlonia presents the first exhibition in Italy of Ferrari Sheppard (Chicago 1983), currently considered one of the most important American artists interesting of the latest generations. The artist presents eighteen works, of which eleven were created specifically for the Roman exhibition at Villa Torlonia as well as the video Be in My Mind, set up in the decorated dining room of the building with tempera murals representing views of the Gulf of Naples, exhibited to the public for the first time.

Villa Torlonia presents an exhibition with a botanical and zoological themed notebook, created by 30 Aipan artists, which traveled from house to house throughout Italy, from 2020 to 2021, allowing to carry out, despite the restrictions due to the pandemic.
