Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi) is one of the most beautiful squares in Rome, built in monumental style by the Pamphili family at the behest of Pope Innocent X (Giovanni Battista Pamphili) . It has the characteristic shape of an ancient Roman stadium as it was built following the plan of the Stadio di Diomiziano.
Arriving in Rome by train, you reach Roma Termini Station located in Piazza dei Cinquecento right in front of the Term of Diocletian from which the station derives its name.
From here you have to take the ATAC bus to get to the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi). There are bus stops and ticket offices right outside the station.
